I am a mother to 6 boys. My family enjoys camping, hiking and being outdoors when the weather permits. In my spare time I enjoy several crafts. I quilt, knit, scrapbook, make cards, paint, draw, and any other DIY craft that looks interesting to me. I have a degree in psychology with a concentration in mental health. I have been working with individuals with developmental disabilities since I was 16. I started as a counselor at a summer camp in Illinois. I knew that I wanted to do work in this field after a couple days at camp. I have been a direct care staff, day program supervisor, residential coordinator and case manager. I have been a case manger in Indiana for 5 years. My oldest son has the waiver which has given me a look at both sides of the system. I enjoy helping individuals and families find the services that they need.
